Contract Cost Accountant for Leading Fitness Company

Join a top global fitness and wellness company as a Cost Accountant on a 3-month contract. Bring your manufacturing background to manage cost accounting and support financial insights. This temporary role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional with at least 7 years in cost accounting. You'll handle standard costing, inventory valuation, and manufacturing cost reporting. Your expertise will help guide crucial business decisions through deep analysis and impactful reporting processes. Key Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of cost accounting activities
• Analyze variances in material, labor, and overhead
• Support month-end close including journal entries
• Monitor inventory transactions for accuracy
• Identify cost control initiatives for improved efficiency Requirements:
• 7+ years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of standard costing and BOMs
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Proficient with Sage 300 Mysis system Leverage your skills in cost accounting with this opportunity to influence financial performance in a leading firm.
