Job Opening — Inventory Management Software Trainer

V2V Technologies develops management software used by more than 48,000 people in 41 countries. With GEM-CAR and the GEM suite, we help repair shops, dealerships, and service businesses manage their operations.

We’re looking for someone with hands-on inventory management experience who enjoys sharing their knowledge. You will help clients implement our software and improve how they purchase, receive, store, and track inventory.

Responsibilities

• Review clients’ inventory practices and develop training plans tailored to their needs.
• Train teams on product setup, categories, price lists, and pricing matrices.
• Help configure suppliers, parts catalogs, and product bundles.
• Train users on purchase orders, receiving, transfers, and inventory adjustments.
• Help clients set up physical inventory counts, quantity tracking, and reorder points.
• Support the import and verification of inventory data during implementation.
• Guide teams through launch and follow up after the system goes live.
• Share client needs with the support and development teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in inventory management, purchasing, or parts management.
• A good understanding of the operations of a repair shop, dealership, distributor, or service business.
• Experience in training, software implementation, or client support.
• The ability to explain processes clearly to people with different levels of technical experience.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, independence, and an interest in working with clients.
• Fluency in French; English is a strong asset.
• Availability to travel to client locations, depending on the project.

Experience with ERP, DMS, or shop management software , barcodes, or supplier catalogs is an asset.

• You have relevant customer service experience in a call centre.
• You have studied/worked in the automobile industry: e.g. technical advisor.

You have studied/worked in accounting.
You have a D.E.C. or equivalent, you are a quick learner and can quickly transmit information.
You are proficient in the Windows environment.
