We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Business Analyst IT for an enterprise-level contract opportunity based in Toronto. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in advancing the organization's enterprise security strategy by leading application assessments, stakeholder engagement, governance activities, and implementation planning for Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) adoption across a global infrastructure.

As a Senior IT Business Analyst, you will bridge the gap between business leaders, application owners, technical architects, and cybersecurity teams. Operating within a hybrid work model in Toronto, you will analyze application inventories, gather technical and business requirements, manage risk remediation activities, and deliver executive-level reporting to support secure, compliant, and sustainable identity access management practices. This position is tailored for a technical BA who combines strong analytical, cybersecurity, and project delivery expertise with the ability to translate complex security concepts into business-focused recommendations.

Responsibilities
Lead Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) application readiness reviews, scope validations, and architectural assessments across the enterprise.

Elicit, analyze, and document comprehensive business, technical, and cybersecurity requirements for identity access management workflows.

Validate application inventories, establish ownership, determine MFA applicability, and identify technical integration dependencies.

Facilitate interactive workshops and discovery sessions with application owners, enterprise architects, and security engineering teams.

Author implementation roadmaps, risk assessments, mitigation plans, and governance documentation.

Oversee exception management processes, tracking remediation tasks, action items, and delivery milestones through to completion.

Design, build, and maintain operational dashboards, status metrics, and executive-level reporting materials.

Support the operational transition of newly established MFA governance processes and access controls into Business-As-Usual (BAU) support.

Perform advanced data reconciliation and inventory analysis using Microsoft Excel to drive data-backed recommendations.

Serve as a key liaison to translate complex technical cybersecurity concepts into clear, business-oriented outcomes.

Qualifications
Core Requirements & Security BA Expertise
Domain Experience: Minimum 7+ years of progressive Business Analysis experience focused in Identity and Access Management (IAM), cybersecurity, or Technology Risk domains.

Security & Authentication Protocols: Strong technical understanding of authentication and access technologies, including SAML, Single Sign-On (SSO), Active Directory, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and OAuth.

Enterprise Transformation Experience: Proven track record supporting enterprise-level IAM or MFA implementation and enablement programs.

Data Analytics & Advanced Excel: Advanced data analytical capabilities working with large datasets, including expert proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, data reconciliation).

Documentation & Process Mapping: Strong expertise in gathering requirements, mapping current/future state workflows, and building executive presentation materials.

Preferred Assets & Certifications
Identity & Security Tooling: Familiarity with identity and security platforms such as Entra ID, Okta, CyberArk, or Transmit Security.

Governance & Tooling: Knowledge of NIST frameworks, IAM governance, and operational platforms (ServiceNow, Power BI, SharePoint, Azure DevOps).

Professional Certifications: Active CBAP, CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent industry certifications are considered a strong asset.

Regulated Sector Context: Prior experience working within a large, highly regulated enterprise or financial services environment.
