Role Description
We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Admin / Upgrade Specialist with strong expertise in PeopleSoft HRMS upgrade projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience with PeopleTools, PeopleSoft upgrades, Oracle databases, system administration, and infrastructure support.

• Hands-on experience applying:

• Application Upgrades
• Tools Upgrades
• PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM)
• Experience setting up, configuring, and maintaining PeopleSoft application environments and Oracle databases in accordance with industry best practices
• Strong experience with PeopleSoft migration activities
• Extensive experience working with:
• PeopleTools
• Application Designer
• Integration Broker
• Security Administration
• Tree Manager
• PS Query
• Data Mover
• Import Manager
• Upgrade Assistant
• Change Assistant
• High-level Oracle Database Administration experience
• Experience configuring and supporting operating systems for PeopleSoft Oracle databases
• Experience with operating system administration across:
• Windows
• Linux
• AIX
• Experience resolving application-related vulnerability findings
• Understanding of operating system-related activities, including:
• SFTP Connectivity
• Support for application-specific tasks during OS and Database patching
• Ability to assist application teams with infrastructure requirements
Responsibilities
• Perform PeopleSoft HRMS application and PeopleTools upgrades
• Apply maintenance packs, patches, and PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) updates
• Manage and maintain PeopleSoft environments across development, testing, and production
• Support migration activities between environments
• Administer and support Oracle databases associated with PeopleSoft applications
• Configure and maintain PeopleSoft infrastructure and operating system environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, database, and infrastructure issues
• Address security vulnerabilities and support compliance requirements
• Coordinate and support OS and database patching activities
• Provide infrastructure support and guidance to application teams
• Ensure system stability, performance, and adherence to best practices
