OFSAA Transaction Monitoring Technical Lead – AML, FCCM & Oracle

Core Responsibilities

Technical Ownership & Architecture

• Own the end-to-end technical architecture of the OFSAA Transaction Monitoring platform, including:

• OFSAA

• FCCM

• Oracle Database

• ETL

• Scheduling

• Integrations

• Define and enforce technical standards, patterns, and best practices for:

• Transaction Monitoring processing

• Job orchestration

• Data handling

• Evaluate and drive platform enhancements, performance optimizations, and modernization initiatives, including:

• Cloud enablement

• Refactoring

• Re-engineering

OFSAA TM Engineering & Platform Build

• Lead hands-on engineering for OFSAA Transaction Monitoring jobs, including:

• Entity Resolution (ER)

• Transaction Monitoring (TM)

• Reconciliation

• Validation

• Supporting batch processes

• Design and maintain AutoSys job flows, dependencies, restartability, and recovery strategies.

• Provide technical guidance on:

• Oracle SQL

• Partitioning

• Statistics collection

• Performance tuning

• Review and approve TM technical designs, runbooks, and implementation artifacts.

Production Support & Complex Issue Resolution

• Act as the highest-level technical escalation point for OFSAA TM production incidents.

• Perform root cause analysis across:

• OFSAA

• ETL/IETL

• Oracle Database

• File ingestion

• Scheduling layers

• Design permanent fixes for recurring issues, data breaks, and performance bottlenecks.

• Proactively identify and remediate technical risks impacting AML operations.

Data Quality, Controls & Reconciliation

• Design and oversee technical data quality controls, validations, and reconciliations supporting TM scenarios.

• Ensure technical integrity between:

• Source systems

• Staging layers

• OFSAA TM tables

• Partner with data and controls teams to implement preventive and detective controls within TM pipelines.

Change Delivery & Regulatory Initiatives

• Lead technical delivery for:

• Scenario changes

• Tuning

• Threshold updates

• Lookbacks

• Regulatory commitments

• Drive TM changes through SDLC with focus on:

• Testability

• Traceability

• Audit readiness

• Support audits, regulatory examinations, and model risk reviews by providing:

• Technical explanations

• Evidence

• System traceability

Technical Leadership & Mentorship

• Provide hands-on technical leadership to:

• Engineers

• Developers

• Vendor teams

• Review:

• Code

• SQL

• Job definitions

• Technical solutions

• Mentor team members on:

• OFSAA TM internals

• AML platform design

• Production engineering best practices

• Act as the technical bridge between AML stakeholders and engineering teams.

Required Technical Skills & Experience

OFSAA / AML Platforms

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle OFSAA Transaction Monitoring and FCCM Transaction Monitoring.

• Deep understanding of:

• TM batch processing

• Entity resolution

• Alert generation

• Lookbacks

• Experience supporting enterprise AML Transaction Monitoring platforms in regulated environments.

Engineering & Infrastructure

• Advanced Oracle SQL skills, including:

• Performance tuning

• Partitioning

• Database troubleshooting

• Strong experience with AutoSys or equivalent enterprise schedulers.

• Experience with:

• ETL

• IETL

• Informatica

• File ingestion

• Reconciliation frameworks

• Strong understanding of:

• Linux scripting

• Batch operations

• Production support tooling

Delivery & Problem Solving

• Proven ability to solve complex cross-platform technical problems under production pressure.

• Experience leading technical design and delivery in large, regulated environments.

• Strong documentation and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience modernizing or migrating OFSAA/TM workloads to cloud platforms.

• Exposure to high-volume payment or real-time monitoring platforms.

• Experience working with regulators, auditors, or model risk teams from a technology perspective.
