Dental Clinic Receptionist

Job Responsibility:
Denwest Dental Clinic is looking for an experienced Dental Receptionist (at least one year of Canadian experience). The right candidate who shows incredible pride in their work and has a solid understanding of patient-centered care, is most welcome to join our team.
Primary Responsibilities
- Greet people, help them in their admission, and direct them to operation room
- Handles customer complaints with integrity and poise and, when necessary, refers dissatisfied customers to the appropriate individuals for resolution
- Performs various clerical tasks which include but are not limited to typing, filing, maintaining service logs, and data entry
- Receive and issue payments from insurance and patient and issue receipts to customers.
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Process insurance information required for each patient
- Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
- Follow up call/email/text with patients
- Maintains the housekeeping of the reception area, providing maintenance issues are reported immediately.
- Has worked with dental software like Tracker
- Knowing another language is an asset
Skills
- Have at least one year of experience
- Excellent telephone etiquette
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Knowledge and experience of basic accounting
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal & written English) and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented and excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines
Education
- Dental office related Diploma or Certificated

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
