Envy Consulting Group is recruiting an Assistant Operations Manager for a growing food distribution and logistics organization located near the airport.
This is a hands-on operational leadership role supporting warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, procurement, and sales coordination. The position offers strong long-term growth potential and exposure across all areas of the business, with the opportunity to grow into a full Operations Manager role over time.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Support daily warehouse, inventory, logistics, procurement, and sales operations
• Coordinate receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch activities
• Monitor inventory accuracy, stock rotation, and replenishment planning
• Assist with logistics scheduling and distribution coordination
• Support customer orders, operational follow-ups, and internal communication
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and cost control
• Assist with SOP implementation and operational compliance
• Oversee warehouse, facility, and company vehicle maintenance
• Lead monthly JHSC meetings and maintain health & safety documentation
• Develop knowledge of MTO, CFIA, and MOL regulations related to operations and distribution
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Operations, warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience
✔ Strong organizational and leadership skills
✔ Comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment
✔ Inventory and procurement coordination experience preferred
✔ Experience within food distribution, wholesale, or supply chain operations is an asset
✔ Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
✔ Willingness to occasionally support extended operational hours during peak periods
Compensation & Perks:
• $70K–$90K salary depending on experience

Additional Details:
• Primarily Monday–Friday on-site role
• Occasional Saturday morning support during dispatch periods may be required
