Receptionist

THE RECEPTIONIST plays a key role in welcoming and retaining clients.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Ensure excellence in the experience for each client from booking to departure

· Warmly welcome clients

· Handle client check-ins and check-outs

· Share key information about the hotel's operations

· Be proactive in anticipating client requests

· Answer questions and meet client expectations

· Ensure billing compliance during check-outs

· Resolve issues with enthusiasm and empathy

· Answer phone calls and forward them as needed

· Make reservations

· Meet customer service objectives

· Follow hotel policies and procedures

· Communicate properly with various hotel departments

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Hold a diploma in hospitality, travel management, or tourism

· Have good knowledge of hotel software such as Opera Cloud, Microsoft Office, and Outlook

· Be perfectly bilingual (French/English); knowledge of a third language is an asset

· Have a minimum of one year experience in a similar position in a 4 or 5-star hotel

· Available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasionally nights
