Labour Relations Manager at ONxpress

Enhance labour relations at ONxpress Civils as a Labour Relations Manager focusing on construction. Play a key role in overseeing collective agreements and Union/Management relations in a transforming rail industry. In this newly established role, you will manage daily labour relations activities and advise management on collective agreements. Building relationships with contractor associations nationally and designing training programs for union and management staff will be essential. You will also resolve various labour relations issues impacting operations. Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily Labour Relations activities and oversee agreements
• Counsel management on collective agreements and related matters
• Build and maintain contacts with contractor associations
• Design and implement training for Union and management staff
• Address and resolve Labour Relations issues with operations Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in HR, Law, or Labour Relations
• Minimum of 7 years experience in a construction workplace
• Extensive background in collective agreements and negotiations
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation
• Proficient in MS Office applications Influence the future of rail infrastructure through strategic labour relations initiatives with ONxpress Civils.
