The role requires deep expertise in Salesforce Lightning, Apex development, integrations, and hands-on experience with enterprise clouds such as Salesforce including Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Experience Cloud.The ideal candidate will act as a technical leader, collaborating closely with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional development teams to deliver scalable and high-performing Salesforce solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end Salesforce solution design, development, and deployment across multiple orgs/environmentsArchitect and develop scalable solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce (as needed)Design and implement integrations using REST, SOAP, and Bulk APIs with external systemsLead development efforts across Sales Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, and Experience Cloud implementationsTranslate business requirements into technical specifications and Salesforce solutionsCollaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and architects to define system requirementsProvide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of Salesforce developersEnsure coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines are followedOptimize Salesforce performance, data model design, and automation processesParticipate in release planning, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment strategiesTroubleshoot complex production issues and provide root-cause analysisRequired Skills & Qualifications8+ years of professional software development experience, with strong focus on Salesforce ecosystem.Strong hands-on expertise in Salesforce Lightning (LWC, Aura)Advanced proficiency in Apex programming (Triggers, Classes, Batch, Queueable, Future methods)Strong integration experience using:REST APIsSOAP Web ServicesBulk API / Data Loader frameworksDeep experience in Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Financial Services CloudStrong understanding of Salesforce security model (profiles, roles, sharing rules, permission sets)Experience with Salesforce data modeling and governor limits optimizationAbility to lead technical discussions and drive architecture decisionsStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsLeadership ExpectationsAct as technical lead for Salesforce development teamsGuide design reviews, code reviews, and architecture decisionsMentor junior and mid-level developersDrive delivery quality and ensure alignment with business objectivesCollaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and ProductPreferred / Nice to HaveSalesforce Platform Developer I & II certificationsExperience with CI/CD tools (Gearset, Copado, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)Knowledge of DevOps practices for SalesforceExperience in Financial Services domain (banking, wealth management, insurance)Experience with data migration and large-scale enterprise implementationsSoft SkillsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent verbal and written communicationAbility to work in fast-paced agile environmentsStrong ownership mindset and delivery accountabilityWho We Are:TD Securities offers a wide range of capital markets products and services to corporate, government, and institutional clients who choose us for our innovation, execution, and experience.
