As Director of Software Development, you will oversee a team of 40-50 developers, shaping technical strategy for the infrastructure crucial to Verily’s AI capabilities. You will manage the Model Development Lifecycle, ensuring data scientists have advanced tooling to swiftly prototype, validate, and implement models, while fostering a high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and lead high-performing development teams
• Oversee Model Development Lifecycle for AI initiatives
• Collaborate with data science and product leaders
• Manage Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM)
• Direct the Lifelong Health Study development
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 12+ years in software, data, or ML engineering
• 5+ years managing development teams
• Proven experience in large-scale data infrastructure
• Understanding of ML Ops and responsible AI practices
