About the role
As an Accounting Services Analyst II, you will serve as a key financial resource supporting finance within the corporate division.
This role requires a strong understanding of accounting practices, attention to detail, and the ability to operate in a dynamic environment. You will support end-to-end financial processes, contribute to year-end activities, ensure compliance with policies, and collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain financial accuracy and integrity.
What you’ll do
Reporting to the Senior Financial Consultant, you will:
• Provide comprehensive support across finance functions, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Review and analyze reference materials to identify changes in procedures and assess impacts on financial practices.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Support year-end processes, including preparation, coordination, and communication with management and external stakeholders.
• Verify financial information and expenditures submitted by employees, identifying discrepancies and communicating required corrections.
• Ensure accurate budget allocations and financial reporting.
• Prepare financial data, schedules, forecasts, and supporting documentation.
• Maintain accuracy and integrity of financial records and documentation.
• Support continuous improvement of financial processes and practices.
What you’ll bring to the team
• A post-secondary degree in Finance or Accounting or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in finance or accounting.
• Demonstrated proficiency using financial systems, software, and related technology to accurately enter, update, retrieve, analyze, and maintain financial data.
• Experience performing complex calculations, reconciling information, identifying discrepancies, and applying system functionality to support timely, accurate reporting, decision-making, and day-to-day financial operations.
• Understanding of accounting principles, procedures, and financial controls.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and comfort learning new tools, processes, and system enhancements are required.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, meet tight deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Professional accounting certification (or working toward one) considered an asset.

Technical: Proficiency with financial systems and software, including the ability to input, update, and retrieve data accurately, and perform complex calculations as required.
