Human Factors Consultant for Rail Projects
Systra
Transform mobility in Canada as a Human Factors Consultant for SYSTRA Canada, contributing to the landmark ALTO high-speed rail project. Drive the integration of user-centric design solutions across projects. In this role, you will be critical in applying Human Factors principles to various transport systems, ensuring ergonomic and accessible solutions for passengers and freight. Your collaboration with multidisciplinary engineers will lead to high-quality documentation and deliverables that meet both deadlines and budgets. You will have the chance to engage with clients and enhance their experience throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain Human Factors processes for projects
- Deliver services aligned with client requirements and quality metrics
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal technical teams
- Provide detailed Human Factors evaluations related to usability
- Communicate clearly and proactively with clients
- Bachelor's degree in Human Factors, Ergonomics, or related field
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in engineering teams
- Strong advantage with Human Factors certifications
- Bilingual in French and English for client communication
- Ability to effectively plan and organize projects
