Human Factors and Usability Engineer

Contribute to the design of flight decks as a Human Factors and Usability Engineer with SOGECLAIR. This role centers around cognitive ergonomics, user interactions, and regulatory compliance. As a key player in this position, you will utilize your background in cognitive ergonomics to support the development of Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI). You'll be involved in user-centered design efforts and conduct usability assessments to optimize cockpit design. Interaction with flight crews and adherence to aviation regulations are essential aspects of the role. Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy cognitive ergonomics for HMI design and testing
• Support pilot interactions and flight deck evaluations
• Develop prototypes and documentation for aviation projects
• Carry out task and human error analysis for improved usability
• Assist in the certification processes for Human Factors regulations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• Experience in cognitive ergonomics and Aerospace design
• Proficient with design tools and rapid learning abilities
• Strong organization and self-motivation skills
• Effective communication abilities in English, French a plus
