Major Gifts and Grant Manager Role

Join The Food Bank of Waterloo Region as a Major Gifts and Grant Manager, where hybrid work combines strategic fundraising with impactful donor engagement. Drive initiatives for major gifts and foundation grants. This role involves managing a substantial portfolio of major gifts while leading grant opportunities that generate significant revenue. You will develop personalized cultivation plans, prepare proposals, and lead a future specialist to foster a supportive environment. Your collaboration with internal teams will optimize fundraising strategies. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee donor engagement and cultivation processes
- Identify and pursue major funding opportunities
- Prepare strategic proposals and communication materials
- Monitor and report on grant impacts and outcomes
- Collaborate with teams on donor recognition initiatives
- Minimum of 5 years in fundraising leadership
- Demonstrated experience securing substantial gifts and grants
- Excellent writing and relationship management skills
- Proficient in Raiser’s Edge or equivalent software
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
