Elevate your legal career as a Health Law Clerk with BLG in Toronto. This role combines client interaction, file management, and critical support for health law matters. BLG seeks a resourceful individual with 2 to 5 years of relevant clerk experience, preferably in health law. You will assist lawyers, manage files, draft pleadings, and engage with clients to support ongoing health law matters. Your role is vital within our esteemed Health Law Group, fostering collaboration and growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist lawyers with health law matters and client reports
- Manage daily case files and communications
- Draft pleadings, documents, and prepare for trials
- Engage in collaborative teamwork for excellent client service
- 2 to 5 years experience in a law clerk role focused on litigation
- Knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure
- Law Clerk Diploma or equivalent certification
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Proficiency in legal software and tools
