About the Opportunity
A Toronto wills and estates practice is seeking an experienced Law Clerk to support its lawyers with estate planning and estate administration files.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft wills, powers of attorney, and estate planning documents under lawyer supervision
- Support estate administration, including probate applications and related court filings
- Prepare estate accounting and correspondence with beneficiaries and executors
- Liaise with the Estate Registrar, financial institutions, and other third parties
- Manage multiple estate files and deadlines simultaneously
Qualifications
- Law Clerk diploma with a focus on estates, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in a wills and estates practice
- Strong knowledge of estate administration procedures in Ontario
- Excellent organizational skills and discretion with sensitive client matters
- Compassionate, client-focused approach
