Senior Overhead Contact System Engineer

Egis Canada is hiring a Senior Overhead Contact System Engineer to work on urban rail projects in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. Bring your expertise in electrification systems and railway standards to our innovative team. This position involves designing and delivering OCS solutions within collaborative multidisciplinary teams. You will be responsible for developing design criteria, ensuring safety compliance, and managing the integration of OCS with other essential railway systems. Your role is critical for the successful implementation of rail infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop OCS design criteria in compliance with standards
- Ensure system integration with electric traction and signaling
- Participate actively in BIM integration and clash detection
- Produce technical documentation and reports
- Monitor design progress and report risks
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)
- 5-10 years of relevant OCS experience
- Strong understanding of OCS engineering standards
- Proficient with CAD and OCS calculation tools
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
