Senior Labour Relations Manager Role Grande Prairie

Lead Labour Relations as a Senior Manager with Metrolinx.
Your role focuses on interpretation and negotiation of collective agreements in construction environments. This pivotal position involves managing Labour Relations activities and offering strategic guidance to project teams. You'll monitor collective agreements, resolve Labour Relations issues, and develop training for management.
Building and maintaining contacts with contractor associations is essential for fostering Union/Management collaboration across the ONxpress Civil Joint Venture.
Key Responsibilities Manage daily Labour Relations and counsel project teams
Interpret and monitor Collective Agreements effectively
Develop training programs for operational efficiency
Resolve disputes and grievances within the construction sector
Maintain robust relationships with contractor associations
Requirements Education in Human Resources, Law, or related areas
7+ years of relevant construction experience
Proven negotiation skills with collective agreements
Understanding of key employment legislation and acts
Excellent MS Office skills for administrative tasks
