Chartwell Senior Accounting Manager Role

Chartwell seeks a Senior Manager in Corporate Accounting to drive financial accuracy and transparency. Play a critical role in financial reporting under IFRS standards. In this leadership position, you'll oversee the preparation of crucial financial documents, ensuring compliance with current regulations. Your analytical and technical skills will empower the Corporate Accounting team to navigate complex accounting challenges while facilitating audit processes and system improvements. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise preparation of quarterly financial statements and press releases
- Conduct impairment testing on financial assets
- Review and prepare necessary audit documents
- Handle communications with external auditors
- Develop technical memoranda related to corporate finance
- Minimum of 8 years in corporate accounting preferred
- CPA certification is essential
- Proficient in IFRS and public reporting standards
- Experience with OneStream software required
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
