Agilent (BIOVECTRA) seeks a Manufacturing Superintendent to lead pharmaceutical production teams on night shifts (7 pm–7 am) at the Charlottetown, PEI facility. The role involves supervising GMP manufacturing operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating production schedules for synthetic chemicals, fermentation, and other biologics.
Responsibilities
- Supervise team leads and ensure departmental production targets are met
- Review batch production records for completeness and regulatory compliance
- Mentor production staff and provide performance feedback
- Troubleshoot equipment, process, and facility issues; support risk assessments
- Participate in hiring, training, regulatory audits, and client meetings
Requirements
- High school diploma minimum
- One year demonstrated technical experience in manufacturing
- Strong communication and teamwork in dynamic environments
- Proficiency with software, spreadsheets, and word processing
- Mature judgment and confidentiality awareness
- Post-secondary degree in scientific field (desired)
- Two years GMP experience and FDA guidance knowledge (desired)
Compensation: $93,521–$146,126/yr CAD plus bonus, stock, and benefits
