Quality Control Analyst

Agilent (BIOVECTRA) seeks a Quality Control Analyst to perform analytical testing and bench chemistry work supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing. The role involves instrument operation, sample management, documentation, and compliance with cGMP standards in a laboratory environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform analytical testing using HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, and NMR instrumentation
- Conduct bench chemistry testing including TLC, titrimetry, and gravimetry
- Maintain accurate laboratory records, documentation, and prepare Certificates of Analysis
- Identify and report out-of-specification results; safely handle hazardous materials and APIs
- Perform routine instrument maintenance, calibration, and sample tracking
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in a scientific field
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or related science (preferred)
- Experience with HPLC, GC, and Karl Fischer analysis (preferred)
- Experience in cGMP-regulated laboratory environments (preferred)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced laboratory settings
Compensation: $49,848–$77,888 CAD per year, plus bonus, stock, and benefits
