Join a prestigious consultancy as a Senior Cost Consultant, Loan Monitoring Surveyor in Toronto, Ontario, focusing on complex construction projects and financial reporting. Engage in thorough project assessments to ensure financial success. In this role, you will undertake essential pre-construction diligence and monitor live construction to deliver accurate reports. Ideal candidates should have a strong foundation in quantity surveying and experience in project monitoring, coupled with advanced analytical skills to drive effective decision-making. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits to review contractor claims
- Offer proactive cost management guidance to stakeholders
- Develop estimates consistent with CIQS requirements
- Ensure quality assurance of financial reports
- Perform assessments on cost variances and lifecycle estimates
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Diploma in Construction Management or related field
- Knowledge of estimating software like Planswift or CostX
- Strong organizational and communicative skills
- Proven ability to foster client relationships
