Junior Quantity Surveyor Cost Consultant

Pursue your career goals as a Junior Cost Consultant with a thriving construction consultancy based in Toronto. This role offers hands-on training in loan monitoring and construction cost consulting. The position is perfect for emerging quantity surveyors who want to gain experience on live projects. You’ll collaborate in a loan monitoring team, assisting in all aspects of cost reporting for various residential and urban projects under the guidance of experienced consultants. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in inspections and cost reporting preparation
- Support reconciliation of project costs
- Help seniors with change order analyses
- Prepare lifecycle cost assessments under supervision
- Communicate effectively with your team and stakeholders
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Strong numerical, analytical, and IT skills
- Competent in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Capable of juggling multiple tasks with deadlines
- A driving license is highly desired
