Student Logistics Coordinator

The Student Logistics Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our diploma programs. This position independently manages complex administrative and coordination tasks related to student workshops, textbooks, supplies, and contractor-led activities. As a key logistical support contact for students, you will help deliver a high-quality educational experience within your assigned portfolio.

• Location:  Hybrid – Surrey, BC


• Employment Type: Full-Time, Temporary (Maternity Leave Coverage)


• Contract Term: March 1, 2026 – April 30, 2027


• Salary: $43,000 per year, with the possibility of increasing to $45,000 per year upon successful completion of the 90-day probation period

Key responsibilities 

• Coordinate and manage student workshops, certifications, and scheduling, including maintaining the workshop calendar and communicating updates to students.


• Collaborate with Curriculum and Student Success teams to support students and ensure accurate program logistics.


• Track student participation and completion of workshops and PPD sessions, and maintain accurate student records and documentation.


• Order, distribute, and monitor textbooks, supplies, and lab materials; maintain vendor contacts and complete inventory counts.


• Support accreditation processes and attend related meetings.


• Escalate complex student concerns and document changes related to workshops and supplies.


• Process contractor and vendor invoices and maintain organized accounting and administrative records.


• Handle official document requests and print/distribute student ID cards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field.


• Experience in an administrative, logistics, or operations support role (preferably within an educational or academic environment).


• Experience with inventory management and order tracking.


• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (academic staff, student services, accounts payable, accreditation teams).


• Certifications or training in logistics, project management, or supply chain management are an asset.


• Familiarity with student records management and student management systems (SMS) is highly desirable.
