Devops Consultant Capital Markets

Guide DevOps delivery for CIBC Capital Markets Technology in Toronto, using CI/CD, application development, and middleware administration in a hybrid arrangement.As a DevOps Consultant within CIBC’s Alternate Solutions Group, you will support project and regression-test environments. You will help deliver projects on time and within budget while optimizing code development and delivery. Collaboration spans application development, quality assurance, operations, infrastructure, and business partners.Key Responsibilities:
Design and maintain build and automated deployment systemsDevelop code, artifacts, Docker images, and deployment scriptsConfigure middleware platforms and provide on-call application supportMaintain CI/CD systems and version control strategiesDocument deployment, configuration, monitoring, and infrastructure automation processesRequirements:
More than six years of IT industry experienceExperience with Go, Java, Python, or NodeJS developmentUnderstanding of JVM configuration, tuning, and DevOps principlesExperience with Linux, shell scripting, Git, and GitHubExperience with build tools, networks, load balancers, and firewallsApply DevOps consulting, CI/CD, middleware, and application development expertise to CIBC’s Toronto technology environment.
