Senior Capital Projects Manager

Lead major facilities capital projects for the City of Pickering in a full-time permanent role, using construction administration and budget control expertise. Work Monday to Friday at 2460 Brock Road in Pickering, Ontario.As Senior Project Manager, Capital Projects, you will coordinate construction administration for major facilities projects. The position covers budgets, procurement documents, studies, reports, and long-term implementation support. You will also guide staff, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders throughout project delivery.Key Responsibilities:
Manage major facilities capital projects as primary corporate contactDevelop scopes, procurement work, schedules, and approved project budgetsSupervise staff and provide technical direction on assigned projectsOversee consultants, contractors, site meetings, and construction administrationCoordinate approvals with authorities having jurisdictionRequirements:
Degree in Project Management, Architecture, or acceptable equivalent preparationFive years of progressively responsible capital projects experienceAt least three years of supervisory experience, preferably municipalKnowledge of building construction trades, systems, and infrastructureProficiency with MS Office Suite and MS ProjectApply construction administration, leadership, procurement, and budget control expertise to major facilities projects for the City of Pickering.
