Capital Markets Business Analyst

Apply capital markets analysis and requirements skills at AIMCo while supporting investment technology across the full investment lifecycle.As a developing Business Analyst, you will work with investment and technology professionals on business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories. Your work will support initiatives involving trade capture, settlement, collateral, valuation, positions, cash, and risk. The role connects investment management knowledge with business processes, data, and technology. You will contribute to defined initiative components with limited oversight while developing product and technology understanding.Key Responsibilities:
Support technology solutions across the investment lifecycleCollaborate with investment, risk, operations, compliance, and technology stakeholdersTranslate user needs into requirements, specifications, and user storiesSupport design, testing, implementation, and deployment activitiesInvestigate trade, position, valuation, data, and process issuesRequirements:
Post-secondary education or equivalent relevant experienceTwo to three or more years as a Business AnalystCapital markets or investment management experience supporting IT solutionsKnowledge of products and the trade lifecycleExperience documenting requirements, stories, criteria, or specificationsBring analytical problem-solving and capital markets knowledge to support AIMCo’s investment technology delivery and stakeholder alignment.
