Technical Architect - SAP Development

At EY Technology Consulting, we’re seeking a SAP Tech Solution Lead/Manager to join our Enterprise Applications team. This role offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to realize your leadership potential by leading SAP projects, driving sales pursuits, and growing our business.

Key Responsibilities

As a Tech Solution Lead/ Manager, you will work directly with clients to transform their business challenges into solutions using SAP technologies. Responsibilities include:

• Provide SAP development and integration expertise for the design and delivery of SAP custom solutions.
• Lead, mentor, and support junior team members and develop the SAP development and integration practice.
• Influence projects, vendors, and SIs to ensure alignment with approved methods and delivery standards.
• Effectively lead a diverse team, foster an innovative and inclusive environment.
• Participate in large‑scale SAP client engagements and deliver quality client services on time and within budget.
• Monitor progress, manage risk, and keep stakeholders informed.
• Stay current on business and industry trends relevant to clients.

• Handle all development deliverables including strategy, specifications, code, and unit tests.
• Operate on multiple assignments and in multidisciplinary teams.
• Present and lead client workshops on key technical topics.
• Communicate solution design and concepts to implementation teams.
• Coach and mentor junior developers on SAP technologies and practices.

Qualifications

• BSc in computer science, engineering, or relevant field.
• Experience in SAP Solutions Architecture specializing in ABAP integration designs.
• 8+ years of SAP development and integration, integration security, and Solution Architecture.
• At least 3+ end‑to‑end SAP full lifecycle implementations, including 2 as SAP Development Lead managing a team.
• Experience in API strategies, middleware (CPI/PI/PO), and ABAP extensibility.
• ABAP experience with all RICEFW object types, SAP Fiori development, and extensions using Business Application Studio.
• Experience with ABAP Development Tools (ADT), SAP BTP Extension Suite, and Integration Suite.
• Mastery of SDLC (Waterfall/Agile) and DevOps (CI/CD).

Salary

• Managers – Vancouver: $130,000 to $165,000
• Managers – Toronto: $130,000 to $165,000
• Managers – Victoria: $99,000 to $149,000
