Senior Estimator for Mining and Metals

Advance your career as a Senior Estimator in the mining sector, focusing on independent estimate development and team management. This position is key in improving estimating workflows. In this role, the Senior Estimator will be responsible for creating estimates for mid- to large-sized mining and metals projects. You will lead a team while refining estimating techniques and maintaining accuracy in cost evaluations. Responsibilities include coordinating estimate plans and conducting peer reviews to ensure quality. Key Responsibilities:
- Create and oversee project estimate schedules
- Collaborate with professionals for total project estimates
- Conduct peer reviews of estimation reports
- Educate others on estimating fundamentals
- Execute additional assigned estimating tasks
- 4-year degree plus a minimum of 10 years of experience
- Strong ability to communicate across various levels
- Technical knowledge in mining and metals estimating
- Attention to detail with timely execution
- Familiarity with estimating software and systems
