The Senior Resource and Mine Planning Manager for the Central Canada region will be responsible for accurately assessing and estimating aggregate reserves and resources, ensuring annual reporting and filings meet SEC SK-1300 compliance, and leading a team of resource professionals. The role collaborates with other key functional groups and business units to provide operational support, conduct geological assessments, and generate mining plans to maximize resource utilization, reduce costs, and ensure operational safety. Responsibilities

Manage and track aggregate reserves and resources as a Qualified Person (QP) for the Central Canada region, including annual reporting and filing in compliance with SEC SK-1300 regulations. Develop mine plans in collaboration with Operations and other functional groups, producing short‑term and long‑term plans to optimize stripping, extraction, and progressive rehabilitation. Collaborate with local business units and functional teams to implement mining plans and monitor progress. Lead a team of resource professionals and manage consultants and contractors conducting geological investigations and building geological models. Provide ongoing operational support, including the development and review of annual operational plans and troubleshooting. Work closely with the Land Management team to identify and map new resource opportunities and lead due diligence. Support all land and environmental permitting processes. Collaborate with safety, manufacturing, and operations groups to ensure safe mining design and compliance with all applicable regulations. Routinely visit and inspect site operations and address geotechnical and slope stability risks. Communicate, improve, and adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies, promoting a culture of safety. Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mining engineering, geological engineering, geo‑sciences, or a similar field. Work Experience: Minimum 10 years in the mining or construction materials industry. Certifications: Professional engineering or geoscience certification (P.Eng or P.Geo). Technical Skills: Proficiency in resource estimation, mine planning, and geological software (Vulcan or Carlson preferred), GIS mapping (ArcGIS), and 3D modeling. Project Management: Solid skills, self‑starter, disciplined and process‑oriented. Analytical and Problem‑Solving: Strong skills with ability to create professional presentations. Additional Requirements: Knowledge of mine planning regulations and best practices; willingness to travel 20‑40% (mostly day trips); adherence to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize‑approved PPE.
