On behalf of our client, we are seeking a strategic, commercially driven Business Director to take complete operational and P&L ownership of the region.

In this role, you will lead regional commercial strategies, drive high-value B2B commercial project growth across British Columbia and Western Canada, and expand an established dealer partner network. As part of the broader North American leadership team, you will act as a key driver of growth, team development, and key account management across the real estate development, architecture, and construction sectors.

Responsibilities
B2B Project Strategy & Commercial Leadership: Develop and execute regional strategy to achieve revenue, order intake, and gross margin targets. Secure product specification at the design stage with developers, architects, and building envelope consultants. Oversee tender and bid strategies, contract negotiations, and handover processes for major projects.

Dealer Network Management: Identify, recruit, onboard, and train dealer partners to expand territory coverage across Western Canada. Provide ongoing enablement, pricing, marketing, and installation best-practice support while managing partner performance and budgets.

Regional Team Leadership: Direct and mentor local team members to foster a culture of accountability, safety, high performance, and continuous improvement.

Strategic Collaboration & Reporting: Participate in North American strategic planning as a core member of the leadership group. Provide regular performance reporting, forecasting, and commercial pipeline updates to executive leadership.

Key Account & Stakeholder Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with multi-family developers, general contractors, envelope consultants, and key commercial accounts.

Qualifications
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, Real Estate Development, or a related field.

Leadership Experience: Proven record in executive or senior commercial leadership within multi-family real estate development, architectural product manufacturing, or commercial construction.

Industry Network: Strong established network among developers, general contractors, envelope consultants, and architectural firms across Western Canada.

Channel & Business Management: Demonstrated background in managing full P&L budgets along with experience in B2B channel development, partner recruitment, and performance management.

Technical Knowledge: Understanding of local building codes, permitting processes, and building envelope requirements (specifically within British Columbia / Western Canada).

Core Competencies: Exceptional negotiation skills, strong financial acumen, and proficiency using business analytics tools (e.g., PowerBI) and sales pipeline tracking software.
