The Opportunity

We are looking for an entrepreneurial Business Development Manager (Market Expansion) to build and scale Distribusion’s airport transfer operator network across Europe.

This is a high-ownership role for someone who wants to building a business within a company. Working within Distribusion’s broader airport commercial strategy, you will own a clearly defined sub-segment end to end - from identifying attractive markets and securing operator partnerships to launching them and delivering measurable commercial growth.

You will have the opportunity to build the approach from scratch, deliver highly visible results and take on broader responsibility as the segment scales.

What you will do

• Translate the broader airport strategy into a prioritised expansion plan , based on market potential, coverage gaps and clear business cases

• Build a repeatable market-entry playbook , incorporating market feedback and lessons from execution

• Originate, negotiate and close partnerships with airport transfer operators, supported by compelling and tailored commercial propositions

• Build senior relationships with operators, airports, airport authorities and relevant local partners to unlock market access and growth

• Coordinate internal team s through contracting, integration, launch and ramp-up

• Own post-launch commercial performance , identify gaps and drive corrective actions

Workplace: This role is remote, in Europe, reporting into our commercial team and working with global stakeholders across multiple countries.

Who you are:

• You have at least 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a commercial role at a high-growth tech company, backgrounds in consulting, tech sales, or BD at high-growth tech companies are particularly welcome

• You have a track record of taking ownership of a commercial area and growing it: markets deepened, strategies sharpened, results delivered

• You can navigate product complexity and translate it into a compelling sales narrative ,experience as a tech BD or sales engineer with full commercial cycle ownership is a strong signal

• Experience in a tech company, marketplace, or platform business is a strong advantage; B2B sales experience is a plus

• A background in consulting, or experience at a high-growth tech platform or fast-scaling startup, tells us a lot about your operating style

• You are self-driven, independent, and resourceful; you thrive with full ownership and minimal guidance

• You collaborate well in a matrixed environment and bring positive ambition to teams where others are also running their own markets

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills

• You are fluent in English (spoken and written); an additional European language, French, German, or others ,is a big plus
