About the Opportunity Maintain accurate financial records for multiple corporate entities, including recording transactions and preparing account reconciliations. Prepare, analyze, and distribute monthly financial statements and departmental expense reports in a timely manner. Support the monthly financial consolidation process, including intercompany eliminations and data uploads into the consolidation system. Prepare quarterly and annual audit working papers and supporting documentation, including financial statement note disclosures. Assist with the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting by preparing supporting schedules, conducting variance analysis, and consolidating forecasts. Manage daily cash accounting and reporting, including cash and intercompany reconciliations. Coordinate and process monthly intercompany settlements and funding transactions as required. Prepare divisional and consolidated cash flow analyses and reporting, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, capital expenditures, borrowing, and investment activities. Oversee day-to-day banking activities and resolve banking-related issues. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting and treasury operations. Complete required government reporting, including Statistics Canada and Bureau of Economic Analysis surveys. Support ad hoc financial analysis, reporting, and special projects as assigned.. About You Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. CPA designation (or actively pursuing CPA certification) preferred. 3–5 years of experience in financial accounting, reporting, and analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Sage 50, Prophix, or similar ERP/accounting systems is considered an asset. Self-motivated with a proactive approach, strong sense of ownership, and a continuous improvement mindset.
