Job Overview

Our Client, a Global Investment Bank, invites senior‑level Project/Program Manager applicants from technology consulting, telecommunications, and software backgrounds. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and a focus beyond mere "designation holders" are essential. Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the Business Management Office (BMO) for Finance/Risk/Operations in Toronto on a global scale, ensuring standards, frameworks, and governance practices are in place and adhered to. Manage enhancements and BAU activities for the division. Prepare and tailor management reports for technical audiences, IT Operating Committees, and business stakeholders. Track and report all risks and issues across IT, covering audit, operational risk, and identified issues. Maintain and continuously improve IT Key Risk Indicators. Participate in committees representing Technology and Risk on various matters. Keep relationships with the 2nd and 3rd Lines of defence. Perform resource allocation for key projects and initiatives. Lead global project/program management: oversee single or multiple global projects/programs, mentor PMs and analysts, and provide guidance on frameworks and tools. Refine the Project portfolio reporting to improve forecasting, staffing, coordination of implementation activities, and prioritization. Manage the roadmap and alignment with organizational requirements and direction. Organize and deliver a global communication strategy, including townhalls, lunch and learns, newsletters, and annual strategy refreshes. Manage a team of 3‑5 directs and multiple indirects across roles and disciplines. Handle project sizes ranging from $2‑5mm to $40mm+. Maintain and manage reporting and decision‑support tools used globally. Support standardization and streamlining of tools, data, workflow, and business processes across Cap Markets. Mentor business and reporting analysts, as well as junior program and project management staff. Lead and contribute to steering committees and advisory groups. Qualifications & Skills

Leadership and strategic thinking. Excellent planning, organizing, and analytical capabilities. Demonstrated ability to lead change and implement best practices. Strong relationship management and conflict resolution skills. Experience in a complex, technical environment. Proficiency in IT governance, planning, budget control, and industry‑standard frameworks and methodologies (PMI, ITIL, etc.). Excellent communication and listening skills at all levels and across diverse functions.
