Position Details

Employment Type: Full‑time, Fixed contract – 18 months (Parental leave coverage)

Reports to: Manager, Marketing Technology & Experience

Salary Range: $54,000 to $56,000 per year, plus benefits and 3 weeks paid vacation

Work Location: Toronto

Work Environment: Flexible‑Hybrid; office attendance required Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Key Accountabilities

Digital Content Delivery (50%)

• Manage the maintenance and publishing of online content in UNICEF’s CMS.
• Build and deploy website content, online donation and advocacy forms, and Survival Gifts e‑commerce content.
• Build, deploy, and enhance responsive broadcast emails and online surveys.
• Ensure email design standards, obtain stakeholder approvals, create dynamic personalized emails, segment audiences correctly, and build data queries for targeting.
• Perform quality assurance testing on new and updated online assets.
• Provide digital support for campaigns and emergencies outside regular hours as required.
• Train staff on online platforms and perform general web maintenance and troubleshooting.

Project Management and Strategy (35%)

• Manage and coordinate tasks in the work queue; meet deadlines and SLAs.
• Resolve website issues with vendor partners: identify issues, submit cases, review vendor work, approve and schedule deployment.
• Ensure content, forms, and emails align with UNICEF Canada’s strategy, data collection, and performance measurement requirements.
• Contribute to platform evolution: provide CMS content guidelines, improve internal processes, and optimize supporter journeys and marketing automations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on content development and guidance.
• Participate in the organization’s digital transformation and strategic plan.

Measurement and Insight Reporting (15%)

• Generate reports from online engagement platforms and surveys.
• Develop and implement experiments and tests, including Google Optimize.
• Update tags and triggers in Google Tag Manager.

Qualifications

• University degree and/or college diploma in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with Drupal or comparable CMS, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.
• Experience with online donation and engagement platforms such as Engaging Networks.
• Direct experience building and deploying broadcast emails on Engaging Networks or similar platforms.
• Experience with A/B testing on Google Optimize or similar platform.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or other image editing software.
• Strong interpersonal, time‑management, and self‑motivation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across the Marketing Technology & Experience team, other internal teams, and external vendors.
• Knowledge of Salesforce CRM, Marketing Cloud and/or Data Cloud (asset).
• Problem‑solving, proactive risk identification, willingness to learn, and strong attention to detail.
• French language skills (asset).
• Knowledge and interest in UNICEF’s mission and values; commitment to respect, inclusiveness, and collaboration.
