Front Office Developer in Toronto

Excel in capital markets as a Front Office Excel Developer with Insight Global in downtown Toronto. This role emphasizes advanced Excel skills for developing essential trading tools on-site. This 6-month contract role, located within one of Canada’s top banks, focuses on building efficient Excel solutions for the IRD Trading Desk. Ideal candidates will bring 2+ years of experience in advanced Excel, including proficient use of VBA and Macros, along with a basic understanding of Python. Continuous learning and adaptation are key traits for success in this environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop tools for trader support
- Streamline workflows using Excel, VBA, and Macros
- Work closely with the IRD Trading team for tool optimization
- Apply learning in a Rapid Application Development setting
- Maintain a regular on-site presence
- Over 2 years of relevant Excel development experience
- High proficiency in Excel with strong VBA skills
- Basic knowledge of Python is required
- Experience with IRD and SQL is desirable
- Must be present on-site 4-5 days per week
