Senior Data Scientist in Capital Markets (Toronto)

Join the OSC as a Senior Data Scientist, where you'll design and deliver advanced analytics solutions for the capital markets. This role features significant autonomy and strategic oversight.
As a subject matter expert reporting to the Head of Data Strategy & Analytics, you will lead initiatives from conception through delivery, ensuring data solutions align with business priorities. Your work will enhance analytical capabilities, offering mentorship while driving innovation in decision-making processes across the organization.
Key Responsibilities Oversee complete data science product lifecycle management
Develop and deliver actionable dashboard insights
Define best practices for analytics within the team
Facilitate effective communication with senior stakeholders
Test and deliver cloud-based prototypes for business value
Requirements 5+ years of Data Science or Advanced Analytics experience
Solid background in Agile frameworks and project leadership
Proficiency with analytics programming languages
Ability to mentor and develop junior talent
