Restaurant Bonaparte is part of the Épik Collection hotel group. This new chain in Old Montreal is rapidly expanding and will soon offer many advancement opportunities in both hospitality and restaurant service.
Under the direction of the Restaurant Manager or Head Waiter, the Server/Waitress must:
Welcome customers
Ensure the smooth operation of service and constant customer satisfaction
Know the menu and ingredients of the dishes to properly advise the clientele
Take orders for food and drinks
Serve food and beverages
Prepare cocktails when the bartender is unavailable
Master the functions of the sales system
Process payments
Respond to customer needs
Work closely with the assistant server
Perform any other related tasks leading to customer satisfaction
Minimum 2 years of experience as a server
Excellent knowledge of wines
Ability to work as a team
Dynamic personality
Good sense of priorities
Stress tolerance
Polite and dedicated personality
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluency in French and English
This is a full-time position (between 32h and 40h per week), mostly evenings (including weekends), with the possibility of also serving during lunch hours.
The salary is $13.30 per hour plus tips.
