Account Manager Reports To: General Manager Smith Induspac (Ottawa)
Type: Full-Time Permanent
We are looking for an Account Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, competitive environment and is eager to grow a strong portfolio of industrial packaging clients across Central and Western Ontario. For over 50 years, Smith Induspac has been a leader in the design and manufacturing of custom protective and industrial packaging solutions.
From corrugated packaging to engineered wooden crates and high-performance protective solutions, we support clients who demand quality, precision, and reliability.
We serve a broad base of customers across Eastern Canada and we are now accelerating our growth in Central and Western Ontario.

As an Account Manager you will be responsible for driving new revenue while managing select existing accounts. You will work closely with internal design and production teams to deliver tailored packaging solutions that meet client needs and strengthen long-term partnerships.
Manage and maintain all sales opportunities within the CRM system, ensuring accurate pipeline tracking, forecasting, and timely follow-up activities
Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities in assigned markets
Actively prospect through cold calling, networking, referrals, and field outreach
Build and execute a structured sales plan to exceed revenue targets
Develop strong, long-term client relationships at multiple levels
Monitor market trends and identify growth opportunities
Proven success in new business development / hunter sales role
Strong track record of exceeding sales targets
Experience in packaging, manufacturing, or industrial sales (asset)
Relevant B2B sales experience within the industrial packaging industry in Kingston area and along the 401 corridor, with a strong understanding of the local market and key customer segments.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Ability to work independently in a performance-driven environment
Analytical mindset with ability to interpret sales data
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.)
