Salary Range: $82,206 - $92,481 CAD or $80,649 - $90,730 USD (commensurate with experience level)

World Renew is a non-profit organization compelled to rebuild communities by God's passion for justice & Mercy. We are seeking a Temporary Strategic Partnerships Manager to join our team for a period of 12 months in either our US-Office or Canada-office, dependent on the successful candidates country.

This position is dedicated to increase revenue for World Renew's international development programs by engaging in networking and establishing connections and relationships with charitable foundations, trusts, and corporations, developing concept notes, expressions of interest and full proposal applications in response to funding opportunities. and creating and deepening collaborative funding relationships with likeminded international development organizations. The Strategic Partnerships Manager will support the capacity building of staff in regional teams for grant acquisition and management.

Network and establish connections and relationships with new prospects for grant funding focusing on charitable foundations, trusts, and corporations.

Fund Acquisition - Apply for grants from charitable foundations, trusts, and corporations to finance World Renew's international development programs:

Lead proposal development—in collaboration with field staff, the Finance Team (Finance Program Manager), and others—ensuring that high-quality standards are met and that applications are responsive to the stated interests of the donor and the requirements of the Request for Applications (RFA)

Stay informed of World Renew programs and field office priorities and communicate appropriately with regional team leaders and field offices to ensure that funding requests align with regional and country program priorities and the funding priorities of the organization

Ensure good coordination of the proposal development process using recognized project management approaches such as developing RACI charts and project charters; and ensuring adherence to the schedule and organizational guidelines and policies.

Work with other grant staff to provide surge support in times of heavy grant proposal writing and/or reporting as approved by supervisor.

Develop performance measurement frameworks and logic models which align with donor requirements.

Increase collaborative funding opportunities: network and establish connections and relationships with new prospects for grant funding focusing on likeminded international development organizations to identify potential consortium partnership opportunities.

Work with Ministry Teams and/or individual countries as assigned to develop local funding strategies and broader grant-funding strategies.

Facilitate/provide training and competency development for peers and/or Ministry Team staff in prospecting and developing team/country funding strategies.

Support and strengthen local capacity building of program staff in grant acquisition, proposal development and overall grant management.

Strong face to face networking skills with a desire to promote World Renew and forge relationships.

Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills; Demonstrated ability to develop logic models and performance measurement frameworks for proposals

Experience developing and/or delivering training and coaching for capacity development in grants acquisition and management.

Committed to a community development approach that emphasizes participation, empowerment, and local decision making and able to communicate effectively about this type of development approach.

Flexible, adaptable, detail-oriented, team player.

Demonstrated computer literacy and experience using Google and Microsoft Suite.

A Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.

At least three years of technical experience in grants required.

Professional certificate(s) and/or license(s) in Project Management preferred.

Two years' experience in international community development and/or disaster response preferred.

Experience traveling to and working cross-culturally with vulnerable communities internationally preferred.
