Sales Development Representative (Service client / Support)

The SDR role is the defined entry point into Rodan's Business Development org, with a clear path to Business Development Director for high performers.
You're building real energy-market expertise from day one. Working North America's C&I accounts across PJM, MISO, IESO, and AESO gives you fluency in a sector where that knowledge is a genuine long-term career asset.
Prospecting & Territory Development
Research target accounts within assigned territories and verticals
Identify decision-makers using LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Salesforce, and other prospecting tools
Keep account information accurate and current in Salesforce
Personalized email outreach and structured follow-up sequences
Trade show, event, and marketing campaign follow-up
Referral outreach
Facility type, energy profile, and operational characteristics
Utility / ISO market
Coordinate calendars with the assigned BDD to schedule discovery calls, virtual meetings, facility visits, and executive introductions. CRM Discipline
~ Maintain complete Salesforce hygiene, documenting all calls, emails, notes, activities, next steps, contact information, and opportunity status — updated daily, without exception.

Build target account lists and support marketing campaigns
Identify expansion opportunities within existing account
1–3 years in sales, SDR, inside sales, business development, or a customer-facing role

• CRM experience (Salesforce preferred); familiarity with sales engagement tools is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a professional phone presence
• Location: Hybrid - Calgary, AB (3 days per week expected)
• Selling energy solutions, industrial products, B2B technology, SaaS, manufacturing, or engineering services

Working with commercial & industrial customers, manufacturers, utilities, or energy markets
