Head of Innovation Strategy & Management (H/F)

Interested in influencing the strategic direction of key technology capabilities at RBC? The Office of the EVP of Innovation & Technology enables the success of the Innovation and Technology team through the delivery and oversight of strategic projects and leadership of business management, operations and risk activities. As the Director of Strategic Initiatives you will be responsible for leading strategic projects that span across the I&T organization including strategy development and product communication.
Work in collaboration with our senior leadership team to develop the future state strategies and roadmap for key strategic topics and technology capabilities (e.g. AI, data and analytics)
Develop content to clearly communicate the vision and value of our technology capabilities
Define the scope, approach, successful outcomes, stakeholder engagement models, solution alternatives, and roadmaps for strategic projects and I&T Grand Challenges
Lead project planning and execution, provide thought leadership and consulting to support the broader I&T leadership team
Define reusable assets / frameworks for the team to leverage, to ensure consistency in work products, approaches and outcomes
Undergraduate degree in business, technology, or similar
- Ability to develop content and tailor messaging for an executive audience (e.g. storyboarding/ strategic storytelling)
- An understanding of how technology is used at the bank (e.g. app dev, data, AI, analytics, emerging tech, etc.)
