Paving Roller Operator

Pay Scale: Per Local 793 Contract
We are a large contractor in the GTA seeking an experienced Asphalt Roller Operator to join our asphalt crews. The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety focused and capable of working in a fast-paced environment both day & night shifts. This position includes operating Breakdown, Rubber tire, and finish rollers ranging from 3-14 tons to achieve proper compaction and high-quality asphalt surfaces.
Perform compaction according to project specifications and crew direction
Communicate with paving crew to ensure proper sequencing and timing
Perform daily equipment inspection and routine maintenance
Identify and report mechanical issues promptly
Follow all safety rules and job site procedures
Assist with general paving duties as needed
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and long hours both day & night shifts
