Full Time Pharmacy Assistant

Job Title: Pharmacy Assistant (Cleanroom Technician)
Type: Full-Time
Maintain inventory of sufficient supplies in dispensary to meet compounding demands.
Pick, inspect, verify, and disinfect all components against the order sheet to be used for compounding.
Enter and program infusion pump parameters to be verified by the pharmacist.
Perform validation, calibration, and microbiological monitoring and checking.
Assist in the cleaning of equipment, totes, and work surfaces and maintain facility compliance with Royal Drugs standards.
Maintain and participate in inventory counts
Minimum 1 year of experience working in a pharmacy practice setting.
Secondary school education and 1 year pharmacy experience an asset
IV experience or prior experience in a hospital or outpatient setting ideal, but not required.
Sound knowledge of aseptic technique an asset.
Flexible and adaptable to changes of responsibility reflective of the business needs.
