Our client, an oil and gas company are looking to hire Contractor Confirmations & Counterparty Management Analyst to their team for an initial 6-month contract with a possibility of extension/conversion. This role is currently hybrid, 4 days per week in office in Calgary.
Counterparty Onboarding and Management: Oversee the onboarding of new commodity counterparties, including customer setup, KYC screening, and maintaining counterparty data in trading and ERP systems.
Trade Confirmation Management: Process and manage daily commodity trade confirmations across various ETRM platforms, ensuring alignment with commercial contracts and company policies.
Data Maintenance and Cleanup: Collaborate on data cleanup and ensure accurate counterparty information across ETRM and ERP systems in preparation for system upgrades.
Ensure systems such as SAP, Solarc Right Angle, Allegro Horizon, and others are updated with current and accurate counterparty data.
Documentation and Compliance: Maintain organized and accurate trade confirmation records, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and internal controls.
Interdepartmental Collaboration: Act as a liaison between Trading/Marketing, Contracts, Legal, Credit, Treasury, and other departments to facilitate seamless operations.
Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and ensuring adherence to policies and controls.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing operational processes, controls, and customer service, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Post-Secondary education in either business, finance or legal is required
Strong computer skills & proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Outlook, Excel & Word
Egistix, OMS, Allegro Horizon, RightAngle) considered an asset
Experience with SAP software considered an asset
Experience with Content Server and/or SharePoint considered an asset
Experience in data analytics considered an asset
