Legal assistant in administrative law

Our client, a boutique legal firm, is looking to hire an administrative / legal assistant for their downtown Montreal office.
3 weeks of vacation time;

- Flexible working hours;
- Competitive salary scale according to experience (between 45k$ and 75k$/year);
Preparation of legal documents through dictation, copy or other instructions;
- Perform regulatory and business research and filings;
- Assisting with time entry, billing and accounting services
- Proof-reading and translating in English and French
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Word
Strong word processing, spelling, proofreading and editing skills.
- Knowledge of JurisEvolution is an asset
- Post-secondary diploma in Legal Assistant, Executive Assistant or Administrative
Experience in corporate law is an asset
This company takes all reasonable means to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires this where it is necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to fulfil these job duties. Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (oral and written). communicate with English-speaking clients/partners/employees located outside Quebec on a regular basis
