Job Details Description Paratransit Bus Driver (Full Time)Invermere, BCFull Time, Permanent | Monday Friday Schedule | 68-hour daysHop Aboard and Drive a Difference!Looking for a role where your work truly matters? As a Paratransit Driver in Invermere, you will support community members by providing accessible transportation between cities. Youll provide safe, reliable, and respectable transportation while offering the kind of support that makes every ride feel personal. If youre compassionate, dependable, and take pride in helping others, this could be the perfect fit for you. What Youll Do
Safely transport passengers between cities
Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and securing mobility aids (if needed)
Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
Operate a two-way radio and manage fares accurately
Maintain a safe and harassment-free environment for everyone
Report any incidents, vehicle defects, or passenger safety concerns
Fuel, wash, and check fluid levels of the vehicle
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle as required by Provincial legislation and record any minor vehicle defects onto the vehicle daily
What Were Looking For
Valid Driver's License - minimum of Class 4
Ability to pass the required enhanced criminal record check, and drug & alcohol test
Provide a clean driver's abstract
Ability to work independently and interact politely with the public and staff
Physically able to perform all job duties
Exceptional customer service skills
