CLASS 1 DRIVER
Overland West Freight Lines Ltd. is your key to reach your full potential. We are looking for an energetic and hardworking Class 1 Driver to join our team!Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Class 1 Driver provides daily pick-up and delivery service to/from our Cranbrook facility. Shift
Monday to Friday; Communicates with dispatch to ensure efficient route planning
Communicates with clients on site to ensure delivery services meets or exceeds expectations
Conducts daily vehicle inspections and reports any problems
Maintains a positive attitude with customers/clients
Professional attitude when interacting with customers and coworkers
Experience operating and maintaining a commercial vehicle to DOT safety regulations
Current Class 1 Driver’s license with clean COMMERCIAL driver’s abstract
Experience driving a manual transmission required
Ability to lift freight up to 50 lbs.
Available to work full-time, Monday to Friday
Experience or certification to operate a forklift an asset
May be asked to drive 5 ton truck when needed
Hiring wage $27.00 per hour.
