Accounting Assistant - Temp to Perm

Our oil and gas client in NW Calgary is currently seeking a temporary Accounting Assistant to assist their team with handling daily accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Perform accurate and timely data entry using CGI Envision accounting software
Prepare and maintain Excel spreadsheets, including managing multi-sheet linkages for data uploads into Envision
Handle JIB processes, including tracking, verifying, and processing joint venture bills
Assist with joint venture accounting activities, ensuring proper allocation and documentation
Support data validation and reconciliation between spreadsheets and accounting systems
Provide general office and administrative support as needed (filing, correspondence, document preparation, etc.)
Diploma or certificate in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Experience with accounting software (CGI Envision preferred)
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and linked worksheets
